Partnerships
The Listening Field is not built alone.
It is shaped through relationships with the land, with one another, and with the people and organizations who feel called to support this work.
This page is for collaborators, funders, practitioners, and partners who want to understand how we work and what meaningful participation can look like.
Why Partnership Matters
The Listening Field brings together several forms of care in one living project. Land stewardship, artistic practice, sound, participant support, and long-term documentation.
Because of that, partnership is not an add-on. It is part of how the work becomes possible.
We are looking for people and organizations who understand that restoration happens through relationships, patience, and respect for both human experience and the natural world.
Who We Collaborate With
- regenerative land, soil, and conservation practitioners
- community support and healing-centered practitioners
- sound artists, sound designers, and frequency-based collaborators
- researchers and documentarians
- foundations, sponsors, and aligned funding partners
How We Work Together
We move slowly. We listen before we act. We build with care. This is not a platform for visibility. It is a space for presence. Partnership here is not transactional. It is relational.
That means we value alignment over speed, trust over exposure, and depth over scale for its own sake. We are thoughtful about who enters the process, how the work is held, and what kind of collaboration will truly serve the project.
What We Look For in a Partner
- understand or are willing to learn what non-extractive collaboration requires
- can approach sensitive personal experiences with dignity, privacy, and care
- value long-term stewardship over short-term visibility
- are interested in contributing in ways that are practical, grounded, and aligned with the mission
Ways to Contribute
Partnership can take different forms depending on your background, resources, and area of practice. You may be able to contribute through:
- land and ecological expertise
- participant support or community connection
- sound, music, or listening-based practices
- research, documentation, or storytelling
- funding, sponsorship, or material support
Some partners may help shape the field itself. Others may help protect its process, support its participants, or help sustain the project over time.
Our Process
Partnership begins with a conversation.
If there is resonance, the next step is a short intake form. This helps us understand your work, what draws you to the project, how you approach care, and what kind of collaboration you are interested in exploring.
From there, we review for alignment and continue the conversation if the fit feels mutual.
This process is intentionally thoughtful. We want partnerships to grow from shared values, clear understanding, and genuine care for the work.
The Invitation
If you feel a real connection to this project, we invite you to reach out.
Whether you work with land, sound, healing-centered practice, research, or funding, we are open to conversations with people who feel called to contribute in a way that honors the integrity of the field.
